What is Hockey Cats Cafe
Hockey Cats Cafe is the life long dream of founder Jacob Brown. To bring cats, coffee, and hockey together in one cozy environment for all to enjoy. Not only that but to do it the best way possible, as a non-profit charity.
A Non-Profit Cat Cafe?
That’s right, we are one of only a few non-profit cat cafe’s in the states. We believe that in order to truly be a rescue we shouldn’t profit off of the cats, so we don’t. Everything we offer at the cafe is free, even adoptions. Of course we do ask for donations, but you can still have a nice drink, snack and kitty cuddles even if you don’t.
Our Hockey Team
We draft our team from cats that are at risk of euthanasia, abandoned or homeless. None of our cats are ever caged and always have an area to “just get away,” if they don’t feel social. Hockey Cats wants to make every players time with us the best it can until they find their forever team.
Our Promise To You
Unlike a lot of other non-profits these days we aren’t doing this to make money for ourselves. We do this to try and put some good back in to the world. About 95% of all donations goes directly to our causes. Why only 95%? Unfortunately we still end up paying merchant fees on all non cash or check donations, so there is your 5%. We guarantee that your donations will go to keeping the business open, the cats and youth hockey.
